January   new year- new you   Self-improvement, removing addictions, happiness, weight loss, and better health through meditation

February   Learn to regard all living beings with love, joy and compassion and allow your self to participate in life more fully and more freely. Meditations from the Tibetan tradition transform ordinary compassion, love, and joy into powerful catalysts of pure being

March   Acquire the means to control your self. Learn to quiet the mind, control thought waves, improve concentration, increase creativity, and develop intuition and clear inner sight.

April  Walking Meditation:  Meditative walking consists of slow, short steps- mindful of each foot touching the ground. Enjoy being respectful to each step on the Earth with spring blooming!

May  Loving kindness medititaion
Be aware of the absence of ill will, desire to hurt or hate in the heart so that one experiences an authentic kindness and compassion towards one and all.
Develop this meditation so that kindness of the heart becomes firm and steady despite the vicissitudes of existence

June   Learn A Daily Meditation
Learn to place the items that you feel would be supportive for your place. A mat, sacred object, a flower, a candle, a small bell or just a chair, or meditation cushion.
Bring your mindfulness to the breathing. Practice initially for 15 minutes and extend your daily meditation times.

July  Using the mind to achieve peak performance During mental rehearsal, athletes create mental images of the exact movements they want to emulate in their sport. Use of this skill substantially increases the effectiveness of goal-setting..

August  Sound healing- with the use of crystal and copper bowls, enjoy the beautiful, resonating sounds they produce whilst meditation with them

If you would like greater balance, peace, clarity of mind and happiness then try this simple meditation. It will give you the power to profoundly affect your mental and physical state directly and quickly - leading to mastery of your self.

Balancing Nostril Breathing:

Sitting in a comfortable position on a cushion or in a chair, take a few gentle deep breaths to allow your body to become more relaxed. Now, using the finger and thumb of one hand we are going to alternate the breath through each nostril.
Close your right nostril with your thumb and take a gentle deep breath through your left. Now change and, closing the left nostril with your forefinger, breathe out through the right,
Keeping the same nostril closed, breathe in gently again through the right and then change to breathe out through the left. Continue with this pattern for as long as you wish.
This meditation is a very direct way of bringing yourself back to a balanced state. If your mind is busy and overactive, or if your body is feeling tired and sluggish this meditation will quickly bring you back to a state of calm alertness; a balanced centre point between activity and rest.
