Sarah Booker's Fitness Diary Week 4
======================
|
TRAINING ROUTINE WAS WELL WORTH IT!
WEEK 4
![]() Personal training has paid off for Sarah Booker. She's lost five inches off her body and is overjoyed.
When personal trainer Christianne Wolff first approached me with a personalized fitness plan, I was excited but skeptical.
Who could manage to find a way for me to enjoy exercise and fit it in around my busy working life?
It seems Christianne can, as we had our fourth and final session this week which included a comparison with the measurements she took at our first meeting.
So I have been following a healthy eating plan, as well as 15 mins of light exercise everyday and the difference has been astonishing.
I leapt for joy when Christianne told me I have lost 2 inches from my waist and three from my hips- that's a total of five inches off my body. Even better than this was my body fat measurement. I have lost 2% body fat.
Just think what I could have managed if I had gone to the gym itself.
Christianne explained this could not be achieved in faddy diets which make people lose water more than anything lese.
This was a real and significant loss. So what has made the difference?
The answer- leg lifts and inner thing lifts, push ups against the wall and simple arm exercises with weights on alternate days, combined with a regime of 100 stomach crunches a day.
The diet has seen the exclusion of soft drinks,, caffeine, processed foods and extreme reduction of dairy products and chocolate. I have also been eating more fruit and vegetables, which were already a major part of my vegetarian diet.
I have not been monastic about it.
There have been two pizza and a little bit of chocolate consumed during this time.
But maintaining a healthy diet in the main and drinking hot water and lemon has made the difference. I will be keeping up with Christiannes recommended daily workouts and I might even buy a resister band.
Now our sessions are over, I will pop back to see Christianne, so she can keep an eye on my progress.
In the meantime I will be logging onto her training website bodyrescue.net and checking out her new personalized fitness site www.designerworkout.com to keep me going.
